Eagle Creek Aquatic Management Area
This 400-foot corridor along the east and west branches of Eagle Creek was acquired by the DNR to maintain the overall health of the stream. Several governmental and environmental groups have come together to manage and develop the corridor in efforts to protect the creek located in northwest Savage. Eagle Creek is one of the few remaining trout streams in the Metro Area.
Murphy Hanrehan Park Reserve
Located in south Savage off of Hanrehan Lake Boulevard, this 2,400-acre regional park is operated by Scott-Hennepin County Parks. This park is undeveloped except for trails, which include opportunities for walkers, bikers, horses, snowmobiles and cross-country skiers. |
